Default What happened in next one year following a TIA event

In April 2016 a observation study about TIA was published on New England Journal of Medicine. The main aim of this study was to observe and estimate the one-year later hazard risk rate in the risk population who experienced an TIA.

The conclusion was that the one-year later risk rate of cardiovascular events after TIA was lower than previously reported. In this study, one or more of four major therapeutic agents were used to treat these patients, including antiplatelet agent, anticoagulant agent, antihypertensive agent, and lipid-lowering agent.
